logistics solution Vorpommern "Bundling transports: Logistics solutions for regional products"
Products from the region are in demand, but the goods have to reach the customer. The quantities of regional agricultural products that can be sold are sometimes not large and many are only available seasonally. In addition, producers are spread over a decentralized area. Customers prefer easily accessible sales outlets that are reliably stocked with goods. In a region with a weak infrastructure such as Western Pomerania, how do you get the available goods there in the most resource-efficient, economical and timely manner possible? What networking opportunities are there between companies?
The project team is developing a logistics solution for Western Pomerania. The first step is to record and analyze supply and demand. This will result in a tailor-made logistics system. The possibilities of local public transport as a means of transportation are also included in the considerations. Where there are good sales opportunities for regional products, new product ideas can also emerge in the long term.
